I’ve got a great new workout circuit for you if you’re looking for best bang for your time! NO you don’t need any equipment (so perfect for a travel workout) but YES it is challenging and definitely YES you will be working your entire body from head to toe! So don’t get fooled because this one’s a doozy.
Equipment:
- JUST YOUR BODY!
Directions:
- Complete the following 4 exercises back to back for 60 sec each, with no break in between
- Complete 3-4 rounds of the circuit taking 60-90 sec break between each round
The 4 Exercises:

1) PRISONER JUMP LUNGE + ROTATION
- Bend back knee right down to the ground after each jump.
- Rotate elbows toward the front leg while keeping hips square
- Modification: Take out the jump and just step back between rotations
2) PLANK WALK + PUSH-UP ROTATION
- Keep your body and core as still as possible on the plank walk as if you could balance a plate on your back.
- Modification: Take out the push-up and simply focus on the plank walk with rotation (still very challenging if done correctly)
3) FROG JUMP + CRAWL BACK
- Keep knees lined up directly under hips and hands under shoulders on the crawl back & tighten the core.
- Modification: Take out the frog jump and step forward to the end of your mat instead before crawling back.
4) STAR OBLIQUE CRUNCHES
- Reach hand up and across to opposite outside ankle keeping limbs out and extended (just like a star!)
- Descend slowly back down against gravity to engage the core more
- Modification: Shorten lever length by reaching elbow to the opposite knee
